Subsidized unemployment program by OEE
Subsidized €1600 program for the unemployed from the Greek Chamber of Commerce
The Economic Chamber of Greece, within the framework of the Operational Program “Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”, implements the action entitled “Integrated Counseling Support, Training and Certification Interventions for the professional empowerment of unemployed people with low educational qualifications in pockets of unemployment from the Economic Chamber of Greece (OEE)”.
The action concerns the provision of consultancy, professional training, certification of knowledge and skills to two thousand three hundred and thirty nine (2,339) unemployed in the regions of Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Peloponnese, Northern Aegean Crete and Central Greece, in order to upgrade their professional skills in thematic subjects related to the scientific and professional field of finance, as well as to acquire additional new knowledge (new skills) and horizontal skills (soft skills) in accordance with the directions of the European Commission, which will significantly enhance the possibility for their employment.
The training program will include:
-6 individual professional counseling sessions.
-160 hours of theoretical training in specialized thematic subjects in dynamic sectors and priority branches of the regional and national economy.
-100 hours in horizontal interdisciplinary knowledge (Soft Skills – New Skills).
-60 hours of practical training (can be done with case studies as mentioned in Joint Ministerial Decision no. 82759/29-8-2022(Β4581) as amended by 90063/20-9-2022).
-Exams for receiving professional Certification.
-Educational Allowance up to 1600 euros.
The specialized training subjects that can be chosen by each beneficiary of the proposed Act are:
ICT – Specialist Web Design Services
ICT – Services Specialist in the use of E-Commerce Techniques & Tools
ICT – Social Media Marketing Services
ICT – Services Advanced Spreadsheet Skills (Advanced MS Excel)
ICT – Services Provision of financial services through innovative Information and Communication Technologies (Fintech)
Services – Entrepreneurship Organization and operation of the modern business
Services – Entrepreneurship Business planning – Business development
Each of the specialized training programs will necessarily include a distinct Educational Unit, entitled “Development of interpersonal and horizontal professional skills in the work environment” which concerns the acquisition of “horizontal skills” (soft skills) by the beneficiaries (total duration of 100 hours).
Conditions of participation
Applicants to the program must:
– Be registered in the DYPA Unemployment Registers, with an unemployment card valid on the day of application submission as well as on the day of joining the project (1st consultation), regardless of whether they receive unemployment benefits or not,
– Be residents of the regional units referred to in paragraph 3 of this invitation.
– To not have the status of student, student or student. Especially IEK graduates should have completed the certification exams
– To have reached the age of 18 on the date of submission of their application, to be graduates of compulsory education, i.e. to be Graduates of High School or Primary school for graduates up to 1980 and to have not attended a training program in the same subject during the last two years before the publication of this call
Submission of supporting documents
In order to be eligible to participate in the Project, each interested party must complete a single application for participation in electronic form, via the Internet, on the project website https://apko11.oe-e.gr.
It is noted that the “Participation Application” is a Responsible Declaration and it will not be possible to correct the details of the participation application after it has been submitted.
The required supporting documents are:
1. Copy of Police ID, Passport or other Identity Certificate
2. Unemployment time certificate (Current Status) which he will issue from the DYPA portal using his personal codes)
3. Certificate of permanent residence from the Municipality. The certificate of permanent residence can be issued online via https://www.gov.gr/updates/features/bebaiose-monimes-katoikias
4. Digital Individual Action Plan (IDA), which will have been issued by the DYPA portal (https://eservices.oaed.gr/pls/apex/f?p=1001:1: ), if the unemployed person has passed from the Personalized Intervention Process.
5. Copy of degree,
6. Copy of the Individual or Family Statement of the Tax Office for the tax year 2023
7. Responsible declaration (addressed to the Economic Chamber of Greece) from http://www.gov.gr or through KEP (or another Public Body), which will declare:
o VAT number: ….
o AMKA: …..
o I accept all the conditions of participation in the Program
o I do not maintain student, student or student status
o The documents submitted are true copies of the originals and the information stated in the application is true.
