Minimum Guaranteed Income Program for the Unemployed

Purpose of the Action.
The “Voucher for Minimum Income Beneficiaries” (Formerly KEA) program is aimed at unemployed people receiving the Minimum Guaranteed Income (KEA) and homeless people, with the aim of enhancing their professional prospects through training and subsidized employment. Participants will acquire basic knowledge and skills through 80 hours of training and will have the opportunity to work full-time for 12 months, thus strengthening their integration into the labor market.
Beneficiaries – Conditions.
Eligible for participation are:
Unemployed people receiving the Minimum Guaranteed Income (GMI)
Homeless people registered with social care services
Training Subjects .
The program includes thematic modules that aim at the professional rehabilitation of the beneficiaries, emphasizing practical knowledge and skills, depending on the needs of the labor market.
Duration Training: 80 hours (face-to-face)
Employment: 12 months full-time in private companies
Implementation Method:
80 hours of distance learning 12-month work placement in a company
Educational Allowance & Employment Remuneration
Paid employment: Up to €1,118/month (subsidy for the cost of salary and contributions to businesses up to 100%)
Educational allowance: €400 in total for the 80 hours of training
Business Grant
The grant can cover up to 100% of the total employment cost (salary + contributions) Alternatively, through state aid (General Subsidies Regulation), 50% is covered
