New program for employees and unemployed with a benefit of up to €2,800!

We inform you about the start of implementation of the Project: “Integrated workforce empowerment interventions for the just transition to the post-lignite period”, with MIS code 6006910. The Project aims to enhance skills, promote employability and facilitate the smooth transition of employees and unemployed people in lignite areas to new, sustainable professional fields.

Project beneficiaries:
The project actions are addressed to 4,000 beneficiaries, of which:
3,000 unemployed, distributed as follows:
2,250 (75%) in the intervention areas of the region of Western Macedonia
750 (25%) in the intervention areas (Megalopolis, Tripoli, Gortynia and Oichalia) of the region of Peloponnese.

1,000 workers employed in precarious jobs, in professions and specialties where there is a significant need for reskilling and/or in businesses with declining economic activity, and who are distributed as follows:
750 (75%) in the intervention areas of the region of Western Macedonia 
250 (25%) in the intervention areas (Megalopolis, Tripoli, Gortynia and Oichalia) of the region of Peloponnese.
ΔΑΜ ΕΣΠΑActions of the Project Beneficiaries will have the opportunity to participate in integrated actions, which include:
1.       Preliminary counseling actions
Includes professional counseling and orientation services aimed at mapping needs, defining a personal action plan and choosing an appropriate learning path.

Training in thematic subjects of horizontal skills
Participants will choose two (2) of the following skill areas:
Digital skills
Green skills
Personal / basic skills

The training (duration 60 hours) will combine 30 hours of face-to-face and 30 hours of distance modern distance learning, with mandatory certification.

2. Specialized vocational training

For the unemployed:
1st Direction (2,000 people): Specialized skills development programs (duration 500 hours, of which 250 theoretical training with certification, 250 hours of practical training, 6 counseling sessions).
2nd Direction (1,000 people): Professional reorientation programs in development sectors (duration 500 hours, 300 theoretical training with certification and 200 hours of practical training, 6 counseling sessions).

For employees:
1st type of program (400 people): 300 hours of theoretical training (100 face-to-face + 200 distance learning with certification, counseling).
2nd type of program (600 people): 200 hours of theoretical training (75 face-to-face + 125 distance learning with certification, consulting).

All programs include consulting and certification services for professional skills.

Educational Allowance.
An educational allowance of 5€/hour is provided (for training and internship).
